Alberta Tree Planting – Terms & Conditions
1. Utility Markings and Locate Reports
Customers are responsible for obtaining all required utility markings and locates for the designated dig area prior to installation. A locate report must be submitted to Alberta Tree Planting before the scheduled installation date.
2. Machine Access Requirements
Machine installation requires a minimum of 8 feet of unobstructed access. Obstructions may include, but are not limited to: fences, window wells, patios, sidewalks, stairs, steep inclines, retaining walls, trees, shrubs, or other landscaping elements.
3. Soil and Fertilizer Supply
Installation rates do not include the supply of fresh soil or fertilizer. If either is required, the customer must provide these materials at the time of planting and notify Alberta Tree Planting in advance.
4. Non-Accessible Planting Sites
If the planting location is not accessible by machine, a hand installation may be necessary. This service is subject to additional charges and may be limited by tree size restrictions. All additional service charges must be paid in full prior to the completion of work. Rescheduling may be necessary. If trees are too large for hand installation, Alberta Tree Planting may be unable to complete the planting.
5. Delivery Services
Flat rate delivery is a drop-off service only and does not include transportation of trees into the yard or placement near/in holes. For any additional delivery services, customers must contact the office prior to their scheduled date.
6. Liability and Property Damage
Alberta Tree Planting is not liable for any property damage incurred during delivery or installation. This includes, but is not limited to: lawn, sod, driveways, sidewalks, patios, edging, irrigation lines, unmarked utilities, or existing landscaping.
7. Right to Refuse Service
Alberta Tree Planting reserves the right to refuse service upon site inspection if conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for planting.
8. Tree Warranty and Concerns
No warranty is applied to trees or shrubs installed by Alberta Tree Planting. Concerns regarding tree quality must be raised prior to planting. Once planted, any refusal of a tree will result in a reinstallation fee for any replacement.
9. Payment Terms
Full payment is required prior to the scheduled planting date. Accepted payment methods include online transfer, cash, or e-transfer to albertatreeplanting@gmail.com.
